Located just north and east of Toronto, next door to Markham, Richmond Hill, Lindsay, and Peterborough, is Port Perry, less than an hour away. Whitby and Oshawa, only a short 20 minutes.

What makes Port Perry unique is its waterfront.  The lakefront in now known as Palmer Park, which stretches along a kilometer of lakefront. A place for swimming, picnics, boating or just relaxing. Lake Scugog has a lot to offer, lake cruises on the Woodman to fishing charter on Poppy Grays.

For you fisherman, a trip to Lake Scugog wouldn't be complete without wetting a line for  record setting Muskie. Heavy tackle is needed, and we'd strongly recommend a local guide. Please inquire with us.

The Innkeeper, Diane, and her wonderful staff will help you plan day trips and activities and make you feel like you are visiting old friends. Guests have use of most of the home and often start the day with coffee and the paper in the sunroom, or in the screened in porch.

Prior to building the home in Port Perry, Diane trained as chef and co-owner of a local Port Perry restaurant. Breakfast is a relaxing time; guests help themselves to coffee and juice, while a hot and hearty breakfast is being prepared. Bacon and eggs, home-fries, blueberry buttermilk pancakes, breakfast burritos, or we can keep it light with yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal.  Its your choice.
